This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Today we received books from our recent project that was funded and the kids were so excited when they saw the boxes dropped off. I immediately felt obligated to them to create this new project. They are beyond grateful for all the new books we have received. I feel like I need to keep that excitement going. We have come so far since Covid to get them back to wanting to read and to be excited about it.
Please help me grow that excitement and enjoyment of books.
I wish I can always see their smiles when they receive a new book. Their quest for knowledge and adventure is contagious! Thank you for helping me fill that quest and their academic goals by promoting reading.
