My Project

I am trying to help my students build a lifelong love of reading. These are high-interest books to captivate and engage my students. I want them to see that different types of reading can be exciting. Many students haven't read mysteries before. These books have life lessons as well as an adventure. This will help them use foundational skills to make connections and problem-solve.

Fourth grade is the first year of reading to learn rather than learning to read.

If I can get them hooked now they will be readers for life!
