My Project
With a set of Magic Tree House: The Knight at Dawn books and the accompanying Fact Trackers, my students will step into a world where castles, knights, and the magic of the Middle Ages come alive. These books won’t just entertain; they’ll allow us to explore essential reading strategies like questioning, predicting, inferring, and summarizing, all while staying deeply engaged in exciting adventures.
Through Jack and Annie’s journeys, we will tie together the joy of fiction with the power of nonfiction learning.
The Fact Trackers will serve as a bridge to real-world knowledge, helping students make connections, deepen comprehension, and understand that history is a thrilling story of its own.
This project would truly become a portal for my students — opening doors not only to stronger reading skills but also to a lifelong love of learning, curiosity about the past, and the confidence to explore new worlds through books.
