Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
It's important to include reading for pleasure into our student's lives because so much of what we do with our curriculum doesn't allow for student selection of reading materials. With the addition of the books that are being requested, we will have a bigger variety for students to choose from during our whole school, free book giveaway.
Every student in our school will have the opportunity to choose a free book before each school scheduled break.
We hope that this will motivate them to read while they are away from school during fall, winter and spring break. The donation will also help us to add a variety of genres and Spanish selections to our giveaway.
