Help me give my students access to engaging literature for all readers in order to foster a love for reading.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Gilger's classroom raised $379

My Students
My happy and kind classroom is full of second graders who have such imaginative and creative sides. They are full of energy and love for others and learning. They are working on developing independence and responsibility in 2nd grade in our room.
I have a great group of students currently in my classroom who come from a variety of life experiences and opportunities.
The majority of my students are on free or reduced-price lunch and breakfast with limited experiences.
My Project
These books are extremely popular with students in other classes in my building. I currently have one Diary of a Wimpy kid book in my classroom that I was fortunate to find at a garage sale this summer. That book has been chosen for independent reading each week and is highly sought after. I would like to have more of these high interest higher-level reading books in my classroom library.
With your help, we can get my nonreaders interested in reading graphic novels and comic-style reading books.
Thank you for encouraging and fostering a love for reading for my students. I would love to provide books and access to these different series books.
