This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These material will help my students experience African American history through a lens of getting them exposed to various African American authors and cultures of African decent. This will help them fosters a different aspect of what they have been taught. These material are not only a few of the items that they will be exposed to, but much more. They will learn on this amazing journey through Africa and the American journey that the African American has been on. This is a great opportunity for my students to explore different avenues of resources. These material will be a plethora of resources for the students to explore with\ throughout the year. Thank you.
