Advanced Life Fitness

My Students

My students are students who are just getting introduced into physical activity, and team sports programs. They are 14-16 year old kids. These students are looking to pick up good habits, coordination, and activities the will allow them to stay physically active for the rest of their lives. My classroom allowed them to feel comfortable learning these new things that will stay with them long after high school.

My Project

Our school doesnt have any handheld devices for our Fitness/weight room. This project will allow me to keep an iPad in our Fitness/weight room to be used to film students and keep them safe. We can assess proper form and technique, make adjustments, and keep students safe by teaching them to proper mechanics.

With these items, students will be able to directly review their form and technique in the weight room.

Students will benefit with having this in the classroom. My next item will allow for me to print out workout logs, nutrition logs, or anything that students need to take home with them.

With having both of these items, students learning in my classroom will greatly increase. It will become more hands-on and more technologically advanced.
