Keep us sharp! The workplace and colleges are using the latest software, so should we!
My students are 9th - 12th graders who are working on the school's yearbook.
They are doing more than putting a scrapbook together. They are learning the rules of publishing and how to use publishing tools like Adobe InDesign. They deserve to learn these skill using the newest and best.
My Project
I have had students who have received work study through their college's yearbook staff. It is important for them to know the latest techniques, tools and software. Our publisher provides the techniques and tools, and we must provide the software and computers. To do this we need 4 copies of the newer version of Adobe InDesign.
I want to send my students to college and out to the work place with the most up to date knowledge.
In order to do this, I need the most up to date software. My goal is to prepare these students for life as adults. I want them to be able to leave high school with the knowledge they need to succeed. This software is just a small part of that goal.
