My Students
Adler! Adler! We Want to go to the Adler Planetarium! My students are so excited about going to the Adler Planetarium, but the only thing stopping us is our need for a bus to take us there. My students are so excited to go on the field trip, but don't know how we are getting there!
My students go to school on the Westside of Chicago.
They come from low-income homes that want the best for their children, but don't have the resources to assist in their education. They really help in every capacity that they can in order to make sure that their child is learning all that he/she can. They just don't have resources to aid in further developing their child's learning.
My Project
By obtaining a bus needed for the field trip will allow the students to know that they can learn outside of the four walls in the classroom. They will get an opportunity to have their first field trip to the Adler Planetarium, which will allow them to explore and learn all the wonderful adventures of space. They will be able to come back to the classroom with knowledge, which they couldn't have received by just listening from a book.
The students would be able to have first hand knowledge from being able to explore and learn all the things in space by seeing and touching, as well as hearing. This will be an awesome experience for the students as well as allow them to gain valuable knowledge about space in such an explorative way.
By donating to this project you will be allowing the students to get a chance of a life time by going on their first field trip.
My students don't have the opportunity to go visit the planetarium with their families due to lack of resources, but they should be given a chance at school to be able to go on a field trip. My students shouldn't be worried about how they are going to get to the their field trip, but be extremely happy that they will be going!
