My Project

Our team lacks the stands needed to most effectively read evidence in debate rounds. Using makeshift solutions like chairs is unsafe and often leads to sub-optimal performance. Many larger schools have comparable stands for their debaters, but as a Title I school we have limited resources available.

Debate is a competitive activity where seconds matter.

If our students spend longer reading evidence because they have improper equipment to secure their laptops in a standing position, they will be at a disadvantage. We can fix this with some shared laptop stands.
