This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students with ADHD and autism need support to be successful in the classroom. I teach at a Title 1 school and have a diverse student population. I don’t get much support for my students with ADHD or autism. I have 30 students and no aid. The flexible seating and access to mental health resources will be vital for my students with ADHD and autism due to their unique needs for movement, sensory regulation, and emotional support. The goal is that these accommodations will improve focus, reduce anxiety, and create a more inclusive learning environment for all students.
