My Project
There's an open secret corner in my room. Behind the projection screen opposite the windows, far away from the door, hallway, and desks, is an open secret that all are welcome to use. Whether my student that day, last year, or never, all are welcome to use this corner unsupervised. If it becomes a mess, we lose this corner but over the past 3 years, it has not been abused, it has not fallen way to the tragedy of the commons. This corner is filled with personal hygiene supplies and tools. There's a hair dryer, donated hair straighteners, lint rollers, and a little hang up mirror.
Help improve our hygiene and care corner supplies to help a wide breadth of students with period products and a larger mirror, so students have one less thing to worry about that day.
The first and foremost goal is to make these products available for students who are having a rough day, late start, or a little assistance getting themselves composed so they're ready to learn.
