This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are from a low-income inner-city neighborhood in Houston, Texas. The majority of them are first-generation immigrants. Despite having limited resources, my students persevere and are eager to learn. They take ownership of their learning and would benefit greatly from having these materials.
All of my students want to learn math and I love teaching it.
I like to look for fun ways they can review what we are learning. The complete set of Building Math Skills Practice Cards will provide them with that opportunity. I have used these cards with my students in the past and they really enjoy them. I have seen the benefits of using them too, but since I have had these cards for many years now the cards are incomplete. I am asking for a COMPLETE SET of Building Math Skills Practice Cards as well as the Visualize It Part cards.
