Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are slowly but surely growing our farm of Orff Instruments. It has been getting better and better every year. My hope is to add one to two more xylophones this year to mellow out our metallophone and glockenspiels that we have an abundance of. The students love having the instruments out and playing on them, but we only have so many to share at one time and our class sizes are growing in our instrument heavier classes. I would love to grow our xylophone numbers so more students have a chance to play at a time and we can utilize our class time more efficiently!
