Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

All my students come from homes where English is a second language. Despite the challenges of coming from immigrant homes, my students put forth maximum effort and embrace challenges to become super-star students.

Second grade students are naturally drawn to technology and this school year, I would like them to have the opportunity to use LCD writing tablets which will be a new, fun, and engaging way to practice their math skills.

In years past, my students used dry erase boards, markers, and socks (for erasing the boards) daily for math. The dry erase board system is engaging, but it has its setbacks, such as getting stained, dingy, and marker ink running out quickly. The LCD writing tablets will eliminate this issue and help my students to keep on learning with technology.
