Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My classroom is made up of a remarkable group of culturally and linguistically diverse English Language Learners (ELLs). These eleventh-grade high school students are enthusiastic about learning and consistently put forth their best effort. They show a strong determination to succeed, actively engage in lessons, and persistently ask questions until they have a solid understanding of the material.
An iPad Pro and pencil would be an incredibly valuable tool for the students in my classroom, especially given their status as English Language Learners.
With its powerful features and versatile applications, the iPad Pro can support language development through interactive apps, real-time translation tools, and multimedia resources that make lessons more engaging and accessible.
In addition to language support, the iPad Pro would significantly enhance math instruction. With access to interactive math apps, visual problem-solving tools, and graphing calculators, students can explore mathematical concepts in a more dynamic and engaging way. Apps like Desmos, GeoGebra, and Khan Academy provide visual and hands-on experiences that help break down abstract concepts and allow for differentiated instruction.
