My Project

Young Adult (YA) books often feature protagonists who are teenagers facing challenges and experiences that resonate with young readers. The relatability of characters and themes helps students connect with the stories on a personal level, making the reading experience more engaging.

Many contemporary YA books strive to represent a wide range of identities, including different races, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, and abilities.

This diversity allows students to see themselves in the characters and exposes them to perspectives different from their own, fostering empathy and understanding.The combination of these factors contributes to the growth of student interest in reading.
