My school is a charter school for teens who are addicted to drugs & alcohol. I have two Physical Education classes one with 5 students and the other with 7 students whose age ranges from 15-18 years old.
There are small numbers of students in my class & team sports do not work well. We do yoga & stretching. I want the students to experience just doing "fun" stuff again without using drugs.
What we need is equipment to do individual type sports such as badminton, paddle ball, bean bag toss, 4 square ball and others.
Your help will allow my students to play and have fun while trying to stay clean and sober. Most of them work the 12 Step program and do not want to return to the other life. They forgot along the way how to just have fun. I want my class to re-acquaint themselves with being physically active & having fun.
