My Project
Our high school aviation class has two aging drones. We've found that two drones are not enough for our class size. Adding a third drone will help more students get more hands-on activity time with our drones.
So far this year, students have had several lessons on drone flight, and real-world applications using these skills.
Recently we have explored several careers available right here in our rural area. A career exploration activity invited students to choose from options such as agriculture, engineering/inspection, wildlife/biology, and security. Students selected the agriculture and biology options, but the group sizes were large. Another drone would provide more options for students participating in this activity.
