Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My current office has all-white walls, two of which are cinderblocks. I would like the students I am meeting with to feel comfortable and safe when coming into my office for therapy.
These Items will allow me to create a space at the school where students can feel comfortable and supported.
The posters are not only colorful but also offer very practical tips and skills for students struggling with mental health needs. The frames will ensure that artwork is able to last as well as allowing me to hang students' artwork on regular 8.5x11 sheets of paper. I want to be as supportive of my students as possible, and creating a more colorful and comfortable space with these items will help me to do that.
