My Project

I am special education teacher that supports 5th and 6th graders on my campus in both math and reading classes. We are receiving new students weekly on our campus either from other schools and/or newly evaluated students qualifying for special education. I need more IXL subscriptions to cover the new students added to my caseload. IXL allows me to give my students individually lessons they need to work on to meet their IEP goals.

My students enjoy IXL because they don't have to wait on me to grade questions/papers; IXL gives them immediate feedback and even shows them what the correct answer is.

Plus, parents love that with IXL they can practice at home on any skill of their choosing whether it be a current skill they are learning in class or something related to their IEP goals. Having more subscriptions will help me assist all the new students to my caseload and future ones that will get added as the year progresses.
