Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love my students for a million and one reasons. They are kind, hard-working, creative, and helpful. Every day is an adventure with their endless energy and passion for learning.

We use art supplies daily in most subjects to extend learning, encourage expression, and increase engagement.

We also keep art supplies on hand for students to use during free time so they can simply enjoy creating. Kids love adding pictures to enhance their writing assignments, using color to make hallway display work pop, and writing kind notes to each other, their families, and staff members.

I hope that keeping art supplies fully stocked in my classroom ensures that every child has access to creative materials like crayons, markers, and colored pencils at all times. These items make learning so much fun and I believe that they significantly enhance the classroom experience.
