It is hard to engage students in material with drab lifeless lessons especially in the dead of winter with gray skies and moods. This winter my class would like to color our classroom with student work! Having a colored printer in our classroom will allow students to connect and print out their own work, not just in black and white, but with all of the colors they would like to see in their room.
Students will have beautiful work to display but will also need ownership of their learning and classroom.
Additionally we have added mail boxes to our request. These individual spaces will allow students to store their artwork and materials in a safe place that is free from idle hands. This gives students a place to call home in our classroom and something that belongs to them.
