My students need Chromebooks to access digital course materials and receive differentiated instruction based on their individual skills and abilities.
FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Hagan's classroom raised $627

My Students
My students are a diverse group of young learners with a multitude of learning styles. We are a full inclusion school, and serve students on the autistic spectrum, students with learning disabilities, E.D., dyslexia, and speech and language difficulties. Despite their academic struggles many of our students overcome their limitations with determination, hard work, and the assistance of our dedicated special education staff.
Our school is part of a pilot program aimed at increasing school integration in our district by setting aside seats for students who require free or reduced-price lunch.
The pilot program also sets aside seats for non-IEP students with varying academic abilities.
My Project
Many of my students don't have access to technology at home. Having these 3 new Chromebooks readily available in my classroom will help them compete and stay ahead of the curve. They will enable me to make use of Google Classroom and other digital learning tools which allow for innovative delivery of instruction and content and help students stay organized and engaged with the material.
These Chromebooks will be used to take and organize notes, engage with multimedia content, do research, and produce meaningful written work.
Students will have access to them both during class and during small group and individual tutoring.
More than a third of students from low‑income households
