My Students
I have 8 students in my classroom and they are in an autism classroom. They require special instruction in all academic areas and in social interaction with peers. Most of my students have difficulty with pencil to paper tasks and need to use adaptive books and materials.
My students like to do their academic instruction with a variety of adapted materials.
I love that students love doing academic activities, whether they are working with paper to pencil tasks or on the iPad.
My Project
Having the materials to make adaptive learning will help the students that have a hard time with writing and help students that need a different way to learn the curriculum. Preparing the adaptive materials takes velcro and laminating sheets and having these products on hand will benefit my students by having the adaptive learning materials.
My student use velcro and laminating sheets in all areas of their learning from learning their personal information in their morning binders to learning to read using adaptive pieces for books they are reading.
By having these materials it will help my students with their learning.
