This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Next year, we’re launching a brand-new course: Unified Art Exploration! This class is designed to bring together our Life Skills students and their peer buddies to create meaningful and collaborative art. It’s all about celebrating creativity, building connections, and fostering personal growth through the power of art.
To ensure this experience is as successful and inclusive as possible, we’re looking for a few essential supplies to help meet the diverse needs of our students.
Tools like adaptive paintbrushes for those with fine motor challenges and air-dry clay that’s easier to shape and mold will empower every student to engage fully and confidently in the art-making process.
In the Art Studio, my goal is to help students grow—not only as artists but as compassionate, creative individuals. These materials will go a long way in making the classroom an accessible, inspiring, and comfortable space for everyone.
