Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I'm a special education teacher and I have amazing students! My students have extensive support needs, but they are wonderful and eager learners.
My students need a variety of methods to access our curriculum and meet their academic goals.
Our program is based online and it gives teachers an opportunity to differentiate our lessons to each individual student. Since I do not rely on only using textbooks, I print all of my lessons and activities. Some of my students have limited vision, so I need to print large colorful text and images to assist with my lessons.
I do not have a color printer in class and having access to a color printer will greatly benefit my students. I will be able to print and enlarge color images/text to better assist my students in gaining knowledge and meeting their goals.
