This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Many of the students in my classroom with disabilities have trouble understanding and visualizing the complex books in our curriculum. I have been creating adapted books to help aid them in reading comprehension by presenting these books in a simplified, straightforward way. Each book is also accompanied by finger puppets to help with engagement and the retelling of the story.
In order to create these adapted books, I am needing a variety of different office materials like binders and laminating pouches.
