My students need fitness spots and other Physical Education materials such as beanbags, foam ball, scoop ball sets, etc.; most of them are visual learners and need to see the exercise they will be doing
The school I work for is a special needs school; all students have some kind of physical or educational disability. Our school has over three hundred students in seven different locations. The location I work at is housed in a general education high school which has over three thousand students. With that many students in one school, I do not have access to the gymnasium or any open space for my students. I have fifty students that I teach adapted physical education to, and it's all done in the classroom. Before we start, desks and chairs need to be moved and safety is an issue. However, the students love to participate in A.P.E. and will do anything to help the staff and I make an appropriate space for their activities.
My Project
The school I work for is a special needs school; all students have some kind of physical or educational disability. All of the equipment I am asking for like the soft skin foam balls and the flying foam disc are helpful for my students to be active in a safe setting. Since I do not have access to the gymnasium or any open space for my students, I have to work in small spaces so Hot Spots and Fitness Spots are great for my students. I have fifty students that I teach adapted physical education to, and it's all done in the classroom or small spaces. They call me the traveling Phys. Ed. Teacher, since I move around from class to class having bags to carry the equipment around would be a great help for me. Also, it would be easier to store the equipment in my 6 ft by 6 ft office that I have.
