Adapted Physical Education Wish List!

Help me give my students new gross motor and sensory equipment as well as an iPad dedicated to their APE schedule, PE videos, and communication during our sessions.

My Project

I am the traveling Adapted Physical Education teacher for the town of Coventry. After my first year in this position, I have noticed I lack adapted equipment that is needed for my students to succeed in the general physical education class. As a traveling teacher, I am constantly using other teachers equipment or having to be creative with what I have to meet my students needs and goals.

Items like balls with bells in them will help my students who are visually impaired hear the ball coming their way, slow motion balls for my students who have a slower reaction time, scarfs for tracking, beans bags to learn to throw, different sized balls to cater to all my age range of students and abilities, and my biggest ask, an iPad for a visual schedule that can be changed on the fly to cater to all my students while also accessing movement videos for activities.

My goal this year is to make sure my students have all the resources and equipment needed to meet their needs and goals! Thank you for all your support!
