My Students
I work at an all special needs school for severe and profound special needs students. I am a physical education teacher and need adapted physical education equipment badly.
My students are one of a kind students.
All my students are special needs students with amazing little hearts. I am in need of adapted physical education equipment that will help my students perform physical activity everyday in my classroom. With my students, I need brighter balls, textured equipment, big and small balls, scooters in different sizes, and exercise equipment. Any adapted equipment will help compared to the equipment used today.
My Project
My special needs students need new and adaptive equipment in order to perform physical education tasks in my classroom. The equipment at the school is very old and needs to be updated badly. For example, my visually impaired students need bigger and brighter equipment, so they can somewhat see what task they are performing. My autistic students need textured equipment to help with their sensory issues. That's just some examples of the different disabilities at our school.
Donations to help my special needs students will help our adapted physical education class tremendously.
All the equipment at our school is old and out of date. By getting equipment that my students can actually use will make a huge difference in my adapted physical education class.
