Activities to Increase Hands-on Experiences!

My Students

My kindergarten class comes from a diverse background of families and abilities. From the minute they walk in the door of my classroom I focus on their potential and growth while they are with me. I may not be able to control their home lives, however, I can certainly control their experience during the school day. By doing this in a creative and positive way, I am hopeful to inspire even our earliest learners.

I greet my class with a hug, high five, or handshake every day.

I want them to know they are loved and important to me. I love asking my students who the best kindergarten class is, and hearing them loudly respond, "We are!" They need someone to be in their corner and while they are in my class, I want them to know I believe in them.

My Project

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, but you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.

My students need extra practice on fine motor skills and these activities and games will provide that practice.

They can use the various reading games/cards to increase their decoding and reading skills, as well as math and science skills. Many of my students come from homes where they have not had the chance to "play" while they also learn.

Please help me provide my students with the opportunity to have extra hands-on practice to further deepen their understanding across multiple subject areas!
