This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Every day, my students start off in our gathering circle. After they take care of "housekeeping," we come together to discuss what we will be learning about today. They can't wait to start the fun learning. This is our motto: Listen, Think, and Try!

My students come from a variety of backgrounds.

They range from students who are learning the English language (ELL/ESL students) to ones who are special education students and everyone in between. The community is very supportive of our school, and we try to meet the needs of all our students.

My Project

Every year I try to get my hands on activities that the students can use for learning various concepts in Reading, Writing, Science, and Math. Teachers Pay Teachers has been a great resource to get virtual/computer based activities this year since we started off the year hybrid. There are so many activities that have been created that can benefit the students.

Getting diverse lessons and activities is a great way to reach so many students who learn differently.

These gift cards will allow me to have flexibility in choosing activities my students need for various topics and concepts we will be learning throughout the year.
