Help me give my students a white board, color changing touch board, markers, eraser and access to other materials that will enhance their online learning experience.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
This has been a very challenging time for me and my students. A lot of my students' families struggled with getting online due to the lack of resources. Now that a lot of them are able to log in I would love to have materials that will help me enhance our distance learning lessons.
Almost all of my students come from a low economic background and struggle with having the necessary materials to complete their work.
Now more than ever, due to not being able to go to school, my students lack the basic tools to enhance their learning. My students have not left their homes since all of this started and are currently only learning from the times that I get online to teach them. Having the extra materials will provide them with an engaging way of learning and will enhance the limited learning that they have at the moment.
My Project
These materials that I am in need of will help my students have a better online learning experience. I would like to have these materials to better engage them in the lessons. Since I was not able to bring any materials from the school I am in need.
The white board, color changing touch board, markers and eraser will be used for modeling a lesson.
The coins, snap cubes, rekenrek, ten frame board, and math pattern center will be used to enhance my math lessons. Although my students are not able to use these manipulatives they love when I use them to show them the math content.
