Help me give my students whiteboards with stands so we can form multiple small groups that will help my students to think together, collaborate, discuss and learn from each other.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am requesting whiteboards with stands. All students can learn math if they are given an opportunity to collaborate and freely express their thinking in a small group. To make it possible, they would need whiteboards, where they can safely show their understanding and creativity.
To determine the value of the cosine, sine, and tangent of an angle in a triangle.
The students need to conceptualize points in quadrant 1 as a vertex of a right triangle. Using the whiteboard with stand, students can support each other to make sense of the problem and identify the right solutions.
They are excited if they can express their thinking in multiple ways in a whiteboard. If each group will have a whiteboard with stand, all students will be actively engaging in learning without wasted time.
