My Art and Music students need 120 dry erase learning boards and dry erase markers as part of active engagement curriculum.
FULLY FUNDED! Mr. P.'s classroom raised $462
This project is fully funded
We are a junior high now beginning to implement a middle school framework in order to create a an educational culture to meet the needs of our diverse learners.
The Art and Music classes have always been hands-on, actively engaged learning environments. Each year the art supply budget shrinks and the music department does not have a spending budget for purchasing more engaging learning tools.
The Art and Music department is striving to actively engage all students. One method will be to use Mini Dry Erase Learning Boards and dry erase markers that each student will have during a lesson. Students will use the Dry Erase Learning Boards to answer questions, make inferences relative to a current topic, learn and review new vocabulary through seeing, writing and reciting, developing graphic organizers, and collaborative activities such as partner quizzing.
Using Dry Erase Learning Boards encourage students to actively participate in a class discussion. Also, students are more enthusiastic about having to write in class!
With your generous donation we can acquire Mini Dry Erase Learning Boards and dry erase markers as effective active learning tools.
This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
