Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project will support my student's needs to develop gross and fine motor skills necessary to meet Special Education goals. They will play with balls, bean bags, and hoops, to strengthen gross motor. And we will use wooden puzzles to develop their fine motor skills.
The materials will be used to participate in physical activities and games to make academic connections, and develop fine and gross motor skills as they play.
These activities will strengthen their bodies, but also help to make long-lasting connections to academic topics that they struggle to find engaging as we help students meet multiple components of their Special Education individualized plans by maintaining an active body and mind that work in harmony.
