My Students
Each day I'm greeted by the sweet smiles of my inquisitive group of 3rd graders. They are eager and ready to learn. They are dreamers, thinkers, jokesters, readers, scientists, and mathematicians. They are the future!
These creative kids are ready to take on 3rd grade.
Each one of these kids is unique and learns in his/her own special way. I firmly believe in a classroom that offers opportunities for flexible seating and a diverse approach to learning. Please help me provide options for flexible seating in my classroom. One size does not fit all. I want to provide variety of ways for my children to sit and learn. Movement is necessary!
My Project
These seating options will provide options for my students to move and wiggle, while staying focused and learning. While some students crave the traditional feeling of a chair, others feel confined by it. Gone are the days of quiet classrooms and desks in rows. One size doesn't fit all. Our kids are unique and special. Each child is full of potential. It is my job to help them reach their full potential. When students feel comfortable and safe they are more apt to learn and grow. These chairs will provide a chance for students to move and wiggle, but most importantly learn and grow.
