My Project
Elementary students love to play, be active, and be helpful. Having shovels available at recess makes recess fun for students who have forgotten their snow pants and boots, and gives something easy to play with in the snow for those who have snow gear. Many times the district snowplow has not come to our school in time for recess, and then students cannot play outside because there is not a place for students to play who don't have snow pants and boots.
Having snow shovels available for students to use makes it easier to let all students be active outside when it is snowy.
