Activating Learning!

Help me give my students the sensory experiences they need to be successful. These activity walls will benefit all students, not just those with special needs. They help develop fine motor skills and are an outlet for energy!

My Project

This is a school-wide project that will benefit every student in the building. These sensory walls will be mounted in the hallways and accessible to every student, every day. The goal is to provide sensory input and self-regulating activities not just to our students with special needs, but to all of our kiddos.

Sensory and activity walls also help children develop fine motor skills.

This will help them with writing, keyboarding, and general life skills.

We are a small urban school where all of our students come from homes that are below the poverty level. Most of our students are African-American or refugees from Venezuela. Unfortunately, it can be hard for their parents and families to provide enriching activities, but that's where you come in! Thank you so much for supporting our project!
