My Students

My students are learning French in 2nd grade and are putting on plays, reciting poems and reading books- I want them to be able to see their progress as they are developing their fluency!

My students are 2nd graders in an urban French-immersion charter school.

They are native English-speakers, but are learning in French every day. We are following an International Baccalaureate curriculum model, so we are pushing our kids to be "risk-takers" and "communicators." What better way do to this than through video?

My Project

We are requesting a digital video camera to keep in the classroom for recording student work. I want them to be able to see their progress as language learners and students. Having a camera in the classroom will allow us to capture moments as they happen.

They are doing an amazing job learning French (along with their other subjects), and your gift will help us document their progress!
