My Project

As a math teacher, I am constantly asking students to use a pencil so they can correct their mistakes and the general response is “I don’t have one.” We go through many pencils in a day and my old sharpener is also very weary. It’s frustrating to stop a lesson to help a student with a basic need like a sharpened pencil to help them be successful. Students also come to me with many gaps. In order to fill those gaps, I find myself running out of our allotted copies at school and printing from home.
