My Project

I am the coach for Academic Decathlon (high school) and Academic Pentathlon (8th grade team) at my school. Most of the high school team members have been with me for up to 5 years on both Pentathlon and Decathlon.

With this in mind, I want to support my team by giving them additional study time to have a better chance in competition this year so hopefully, we can go to State for the first time!

My high school Academic Decathlon students need support, especially for their hard work being done all by themselves. Now, they are giving up their lunch time and many hours before and after school with teachers volunteering to give them extra tutoring. They deserve snacks for their extra effort and it helps give them a better incentive. They have done so much for our team and our school. They need to be supported and celebrated. It will also be easier to stay late after school if they are not hungry!

The gift of these snacks (chips, beef jerky, applesauce, caprisuns, fruit snacks, cookies, and poptart bites) will have a huge impact on my students' willpower to try their best in competition, feel appreciated for all their hard work, and also promote the team dynamic. Thank you for helping them!
