This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As the teacher of a high school multiple disabilities classroom; I am constantly trying to find new and creative ways to teach my students pertinent life and job skills. Studies have shown that students with special needs learn best when materials are printed in color versus black and white.

While I try to incorporate as many "real life" hands on experiences within our classroom, sometimes it isn't always possible.

With the requested items I will have the ability to print materials in color with the printer, laminate them with the pouches so that they withstand regular use, and bind materials together into resource books with the binding machine. I will be able to make materials that will not only have more of an impact but will last longer.
