Accessible Books to Read and Broaden Students' Appreciation of History!
Help me give my students the book, Who Was Martin Luther King, Jr.? and a few other Who Was? books to broaden their knowledge and interest in reading and history.

My Project
Finding books that meet my classroom's broad spectrum of learning abilities can be challenging. Last year, I borrowed a “Who Was?” series book about Anne Frank from a colleague. With this book, our students could follow along while the class read through the book, all while enjoying learning about Anne Frank!
I want to provide another accessible book for the students in my classroom and my colleague's classroom to read and learn about Martin Luther King Jr.
In addition, I would like to get a few other single books from this series for our class library and to use for future consideration of whole class reading.
My goal is that these books about Martin Luther King Jr. and other "Who Was?" books will generate more interest in reading and teach our outstanding students more about influential people or events from all cultures in American History. This project has the potential to reach thirty-five or more students!
