Help me give my students who use a wheelchair something extra to do at recess, or free time.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. P.'s classroom raised $275

My Students
Our students come from a wide range of backgrounds, cultures and ability levels. Our school is a Title I school, and we have many English Language Learners. Many students come from a disadvantaged background. and are facing economic challenges.
There is a wide range of individual needs from students with learning disabilities, behavioral, speech and language disorders to students with Autism.
Despite these challenges, we all put forth our best efforts every day, making the most of the supplies we have been given!
My Project
Students who use a wheelchair are limited to what activities are available to them during outdoor recess time.
Accessible ART will give options for all students at recess to play and express their creativity.
Students are limited in which activities they can do at recess and this easel will give three students (at a time) an option outdoors. The adjustable height can adapt to our range of learners. This can be brought indoors for storage or for indoor use also. This is durable and will last many years, helping current students as well as future students!
More than a third of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
