Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The materials requested for this project are essential for all of my students to be able to learn and thrive together. Being a special educator, I need supplies such as; visual calendars, timers, decorations, and sensory tools to reach all of my students. The stickers will be used for token boards, which help students stay focused and on task, while the paint will help the students who cannot write. The easel pad and markers are a great way to get everyone involved in the activities. The laminating pouches are absolutely essential to make my classroom accessible to all my students and have resources available for years to come.
My goal is to make my classroom an accessible, safe space where all my students feel comfortable.
I strive for my students to be happy to come to school every day.
