Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are from an impoverished neighborhood in East Harlem, New York City. My class is an inclusive room. There are various levels. In order to effectively help my students, each child can be supported by having a digital device which is customized to their learning needs.
Having tablets would be of tremendous benefit to our students.
Please consider sponsoring my students. Thanks.
My Project
My students will be differentiated to attain their level. The Fire tablets afford them Independence and a secure feeling. Each student won't worry about waiting on their peer to complete an assignment before commencing theirs.
The students can go ahead or repeat a step, as required.
The new shift in education is to incorporate STEM. This multimedia device is a way of getting alternative information and compare it to text resulting in exposure to multiple perspectives on the same theme or topic. Students will be enthused to learn more about a topic as they read points of view of various authors while working at their independent levels.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
