My Project
I teach multilingual learners at a Title 1 school, where many of my students face significant challenges in keeping up with their English speaking peers. To support them, we offer after school tutoring, providing a safe space where they can learn at their own pace. The snacks you provide would not only fuel their bodies but also encourages more students to stay for the extra support they need. With these snacks students can focus on learning without the distraction of hunger, helping them succeed. Your donations would go a long way in making tutoring more accessible and beneficial for my students.
Another donation that would greatly impact my student learning is the computer mouse giving them better access to technology.
The trackpad on our classroom computer is not functioning properly, and students become frustrated because it takes them longer to complete tasks. With your donation, they will be able to use technology more easily to finish their assignments. For my multilingual students, who rely on the computer for translations, access to functioning computer is essential to their learning and success.
