My Project
Students love to read. Our library is a wonderful place for our middle school students to be exposed to a variety of literature. Unfortunately, as budgets are cut, we aren’t able to keep up with purchasing books for our changing population.
We have many new Spanish and Ukrainian speaking students who should walk into our library and see options of books they can read.
We need more options of books for them to check out. We need to show them that we value their language and culture.
Walking into the library and seeing a variety of books in their primary language would be very exciting and welcoming. I hope to make our library more inviting to all.
